Does anyone know how long bus takes from Ella to Kataragama and bus number please
Hi,We are at Ella now and We sere told that bus from here to Galle goes via Mirissa,so there is no need to change the bus. Times are still correct 🙂
Hello, can you give me the number of a bus from Ella to Galle and Ella to Matara? Thank you!
Bus number 31.
I’ll be leaving Ella on the 12th of April, 2018. where should I go to take the Ella to Galle bus?
Be aware that busses are cheap, but often crowded, narrow seats and slow (much stops to pick up max. passengers). Sometimes luggage may be a problem. It is rare to find busses with reserved seats. It is nearly impossible to find the def. timetables, unless some local friend or the hotel calls in advance or you go first and look for yourself.
Be aware that there are no regular toilet stops (my last long distance trip did only have a pit stop after 5 h drive ;-))). So be prepared!
